What is moving.one?
moving.one is a U.S. moving estimate platform — not a moving company. Enter a pickup and delivery address, see a planning range, then a confirmed working price. Licensed crews at Next Generation Movers Inc fulfill booked moves.
Do you go to Texas?
Yes. Texas is in the continental U.S., so we take the quote. Dallas, Houston, Austin, and the rest of Texas sit outside our lock triangle, so the route is review — a coordinator confirms. There is no fake instant lock on a Texas quote.
What is the 30%?
30% is the date-hold deposit, taken only from a single confirmed working price after the 5% (human, card) or 7% (agent, USDC) discount. It is never 30% of a planning range. Lock deposits exist only inside the Minneapolis – northern Maine – Key West triangle. Review routes (the rest of the continental U.S.) are captured, not charged.
Do you sell the lead?
No. moving.one does not sell leads and is not a lead-auction marketplace. The quote stays with Next Generation Movers Inc (USDOT 3764697, MC 1341637).
What is the lock triangle?
The lock triangle is Minneapolis – northern Maine – Key West. Both ends of the route must sit inside it to lock a date. The rest of the continental U.S. is review. Outside the continental U.S. is not bookable online.
What is the 5% / 7% discount?
Humans get 5% off the confirmed price on a card. Agents get 7% off in USDC. The two do not stack. The gift box on the price step is that discount opening — it is not taken off a planning range.
Is the online estimate the final price?
The first number is a planning range. After size, date, and optional room snaps we show one confirmed working price. Inside the lock triangle that number is discounted, then 30% of the discounted figure holds the date. A coordinator still confirms inventory. Review routes stay a quote until a person looks.
How much does a local move cost?
Local moves (under about 100 miles) are quoted from home size, access, and inventory. Use See your price — the range is planning, the later number is the confirmed working price.
What areas do you serve?
Estimates for local and long-distance moves anywhere in the continental United States. Instant date-lock only inside Minneapolis – northern Maine – Key West. Texas, California, and other western metros are honest review quotes — we do not fake a lock.
Are the movers licensed and insured?
moving.one is an estimate site. Moves are performed by Next Generation Movers Inc, USDOT 3764697, MC 1341637. Belongings are protected from pickup to delivery.
Do you provide packing supplies?
Blankets are included. Full packing (materials + labor) is an add-on you can toggle before booking.
How far in advance should I book?
One to two weeks is comfortable. Weekends and month-end fill earlier. Same-week dates are sometimes open — call (240) 422-2243.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes — free rescheduling up to 48 hours before the move date. Cancellations inside 48 hours may carry a fee. Call as early as you can.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card for the human 5% path. USDC for the agent 7% path. The date-hold is 30% of the discounted confirmed price, lock triangle only. Remaining balance is due as the coordinator confirms.
